Medina Lake Water Level
(February 25, 2017)
The water level is a bit lower than usual but it makes for a nice flat ground to dock up to and hang around at. It makes for a great fishing spot and its shallow enough for the kids to play without having to worry. And now that i got myself a cart the walk down isn't as bad as it was before. i should have gotten a cart sooner being that it was only 30 bucks

New Years Ride
(January 2, 2017)

It was nice to start the new year off with a nice ling kayak ride at Medina Lake. The weather was cool and not a cloud in the sky. Not as many boats on the lake as I thought I'd see being that it was still New Years vacation for most people. But that's good for me, less wake and more places to kayak to! I was riding back to the dock after a few hours of fishing and i saw this nice sized bass fighting something so i rode up to it and it was choking on another fish. It took one cast and reel to catch it and when i brought it up it was so heavy it snapped my rod! I was able to get the hook out as well as the other fish it was eating and let them go. It was probably the biggest bass Ive seen out there.

Men's Trip
(October 15, 2016)

Well, the men's trip was fun but no keepers, just a ribbon fish that put up a decent fight and of course a ton of hard heads, womp womp. It was so nice to kayak in Corpus though. The wakes were far more intense than any lake of course and I drifted for miles in minutes. The weather was amazing and temperature was just right. We stayed at this spot right on the water so weather I was in the kayak or not, fishing was going on 24/7. Lots of beer and lots of memories. can't wait to go back
