The fish are still small!!
It was still a bit hot around 6:45 when I dropped the kayak in the water at Medina Lake. I wanted to get a good ride in and with the sun setting at 8:45pm right now I can easily go after work on a weekday. I took my daughter with me and she had a blast!! She was in charge of the gopro while I guided us on our adventure. I tried trolling the waters with the fishing poles but no luck. But go figure, as soon as we got back to the dock and got out of the water, the fish started biting! I caught 2 small bass within minutes of each other. I have to say, I thought they'd be a little bigger since the last time I posted my catches. I think I may need to go near the Dam for the bigger guys, but I'll wait until I get a trolling motor to go out there ;). I took the kayak home with me in preparation of the men's trip next weekend. I can't wait!! Here we come Corpus!
